Ages 13-15
In this intermediate program, the players will hone the their volleyball fundamentals such hitting, passing, serving and setting skills. The players will be taught to: Hitting approach ( 3 and 4 steps) ; Service (overhead, jump); Receiving and Pass : "read" the ball , body and arm platform positions; Blocking and transition out of net. Players will get involved in game-like situations to learn or perfect their defense/ attacking /blocking. The last sessions, the players will play games in a mock tournament.
Skill level: Intermediate. Players must have some experience, able to serve the ball over the net.
Preferred Equipment: Volleyball shoes, knee pads
Optional Equipment: Arm sleeves, water bottle
Plainsboro Residents: $25Non-Residents: $35 beginning June 9
