LEVEL 3 Spring Play The Alibis Director: Loree Westbrooks Level: III (7th-8th Graders) SYNOPSIS: When eccentric billionaire J. Leslie Arlington is murdered, a clueless detective finds the suspects are all reluctant to admit their alibis . . . because they were all committing other ridiculous crimes at the time. Designed as a flexible build-your-own mystery, you can perform these plays in any combination and thread them together with optional interludes. You never know what's coming next when your suspects include disgruntled chefs, teen detectives, and vengeful divas AUDITIONS: Material: Full Audition Packets will be posted on your Google Classroom. Audition Workshop: Monday, December 29th 5:30 PM-7:00 PM Auditions: Saturday, January 3rd, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM REHEARSALS: Start Date: Thursday, January 8th 2026 Thursdays 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM ADDITIONAL REHEARSALS: Saturday January 10th | 10:00 AM-1:00 PM Saturday, January 17th | 10:00 AM–1:00 PM Saturday, January 31st | 10:00 AM-1:00 PM SET BUILD/PARENT VOLUNTEER DAYS: Parent volunteer days to replace set build during the final 2 rehearsals before tech week. January 29th OR February 5th (During Class Time) LOAD IN: Sunday, January 25th 5:00 PM-7:00 PM *Note this will also be used as rehearsal time TECH WEEK: February 8th-11th (Sunday–Wednesday) | 5:00–8:00 PM No conflicts are permitted during tech week. PERFORMANCES: THURSDAY: February 12th| 7:00 PM FRIDAY: February 13th| 7:00 PM SATURDAY: February 14th | 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM SUNDAY: February 15th | 3:00 PM ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Costumes are provided by Genesis. Supplemental items & shoes from your wardrobe. Students are required to be present at all rehearsals and shows. Please do not schedule any appointments or events for your student during this rehearsal period. Please send a snack, a personal water bottle, and pencil each day to rehearsal. Please help your student at home to memorize their lines. Tickets will be available for purchase online, so buy early!
