Level 4 Musical: The Drowsy Chaperone Director: Ashley Puckett Gonzales Level IV (9th-12th Graders) SYNOPSIS: The Drowsy Chaperone is a hilarious, high-energy love letter to classic musicals! When a lonely theatre fan puts on his favorite cast recording, the show magically bursts to life in his living room-complete with glamorous showgirls, over-the-top gangsters, tap-dancing, and a very “drowsy” chaperone who may or may not help keep the bride and groom apart. Full of big laughs, catchy tunes, and delightfully quirky characters, this musical is a joyful celebration of theatre, nostalgia, and the pure fun of getting swept up in a show.
