"NEW in 2026!! Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges in our drone summer camps. This drone piloting camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will fly our new Tello Boost with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search and rescue. Multiple teams will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: Building and navigating an obstacle course, Lessons in aerodynamics, learning to fly and land the Tello Boost, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker. Campers will also operate and take home their own hand-size quad copter at the end of the week! Who This Drone Flying Camp Is For This camp is perfect for aspiring engineers, inventors, and tech enthusiasts who love hands-on projects and outdoor challenges. No prior experience required—just curiosity, focus, and a sense of adventure! There is a $10 lab fee for this camp due to the extraordinary amount of supplies needed.
