Acting 2 is designed for students who are ready to move beyond imaginative play and begin developing acting tools through more intentional, thoughtful work. This class focuses on helping young actors understand how to make clear choices using text, movement, and voice while working collaboratively with scene partners. Students will explore script basics and scene structure, character objectives and obstacles, vocal clarity, physical specificity, and partner awareness. Through scripted scenes, character development exercises, structured improvisation, and small-group work, students are introduced to rehearsal discipline and foundational concepts such as beats and tactics. This class is not beginner-level, not game-only, and not advanced conservatory training. Instead, it provides a strong bridge between playful exploration and more focused performance work.
