About This Activity
Director: Meg Sullivan Level: IV (9th-12th Graders) SYNOPSIS:Romeo and Juliet is a timeless tragedy about two young lovers from feuding families in Verona. Despite the hatred between the Montagues and Capulets, Romeo and Juliet fall in love and secretly marry. Their love sets off a chain of events filled with misunderstandings, duels, and heartbreak. In the end, their untimely deaths bring the families to a painful but powerful reconciliation. AUDITIONS: Wednesday, November 19th 5:30-8:30 PM REHEARSALS: Rehearsals Begin: Wednesday, December 3, 2025 Weekly Rehearsals: Wednesdays & Fridays | 5:30–9:30 PM *Possible added rehearsals during Winter Break based on cast availability SET BUILD/PARENT VOLUNTEER DAYS: Parent volunteer days to replace set build during the final 2 rehearsals before tech week. LOAD IN: Sunday, December 14 | 5:00–7:00 PM TECH WEEK: January 18–21 (Sunday–Wednesday) | 5:30–9:30 PM PERFORMANCES: - Thursday, January 22 | 7:00 PM - Friday, January 23 | 7:00 PM - Saturday, January 24 | 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM - Sunday, January 25 | 3:00 PM ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Costumes are provided by Genesis. Supplemental items & shoes from your wardrobe. Students are required to be present at all rehearsals and shows. Please do not schedule any appointments or events for your student during this rehearsal period. Please send a snack, a personal water bottle, and pencil each day to rehearsal. Please help your student at home to memorize their lines. Tickets will be available online
