About This Activity
This enchanting course immerses young artists in the elements of contemporary art and design! Students will explore a variety of materials and techniques including painting, printmaking, collage and assemblage. They’ll flex critical thinking as well as creative muscles by analyzing and appreciating works of modern masters. Inner artists will be unleashed through solo work and as part of a creative team. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to participate in CAP’s Visual Arts Showcase—an annual exhibition where young artists get to display their work and celebrate their artistic journey.
