The focus of the boys basketball camp is to provide every participant the opportunity to develop fundamental skills in ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork and rebounding, as well as individual and team defense. In addition, campers will improve their conceptual understanding of the game. With a low staff-to-player ratio, we can guarantee each player individual attention throughout the week. This camp is high-energy and a challenging week of hard work. We also look forward to each participant making new friends, while having plenty of fun. Camp is led by Notre Dame’s head boys’ basketball coach Whitney Robinson who brings in a wealth of playing and coaching experience. Coach Robinson started his career at Eastern Kentucky where he was the leading scorer in the nation as a freshman. From there, he continued at Central Michigan University and was a part of two MAC championships. After college, coach Robinson played professionally oversees from 2003-2008. He was selected for many Athletes in Action tours and shared his testimony in Australia, France, Egypt, China. Coach Robinson has been the head coach for the Fighting Irish since 2012. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels.
