About This Activity
Through theatre games and exercises, students are introduced to collaborative play and ensemble building skills on our forest stage. Students then build upon these skills as they explore acting and performance techniques by helping to create and share short scenes/plays using either a piece of children's literature or by creating their own characters. This new and fun camp includes ensemble building, improvisation, foundational elements of storytelling and blocking. Creative storytelling elements including: using props and costumes! The week culminates in a casual show for friends and family to attend. Full Day Campers 9am-4pm Please bring a light jacket, 2 snacks, a healthy lunch, and a water bottle. Morning Campers 9am-12pm Please bring a light jacket, healthy snack and a water bottle. Extended care available as an option in the checkout process. You can sign up to arrive as early as 8am, and as late as 5pm (or until 1pm for morning campers who need to stay through lunch).
