About This Activity
Let your imagination run wild in the PAM CUT camp Worlds of Wonder with teaching artist Fry. In this week-long class, you’ll become the master architect of your own fantastical universe. You'll design alien landscapes, dream up habitats and ecosystems, and maybe even invent a new mythology to govern your world and its inhabitants. We’ll explore storytelling and world building, brainstorm ideas through word games and sketches, and then experiment with everyday materials in the classroom to build something truly unique. We’ll use materials like cardboard, clay, paint, fabric, and more to build your creatures and bring your imaginary world to life. Participants will learn about collaboration, creative problem-solving, and how to bring ideas from concept into physical space. At the end of the week, we’ll showcase your magnificent creations in an exhibition for family and friends.
