About This Activity
Dive into the colorful world of American artist David Hockney! During this week, campers will explore Hockney’s vibrant paintings, discover his unique style, and visit the Portland Art Museum to see his work up close. Inspired by what they see, students will create their own original artwork using fun, hands-on techniques. Through observation, discussion, and creativity, campers will develop artistic skills, gain confidence, and experience the joy of self-expression in a museum-inspired environment. This camp is taught in French by Sophie Piedra-Mansuet.
