To complete online enrollment, you will be required to make a payment at checkout. Monthly payment plans are available. If you need to pay by check, register by contacting customer service at 503-679-5879.
Lessons are scheduled between instructor and student at a mutually agreeable day and time, as verbally confirmed. CMC lessons use ZOOM. For more information, see https://www.zoom.us/
Your instructor may require materials not included in registration fee. Beginners start with 30 minute lessons; advanced students (playing concertos or sonatas) move to 45 minute lessons; 60 minute lessons are provided in special cases. Suzuki, traditional, hybrid, and other instructional methods are used. Daily individual practice between classes is a required part of successful music instruction.
During the School Year, CMC requires private lesson students to participate in a concurrent enrichment class, or apply for an exemption if participating in similar activities elsewhere. Separate fees apply for CMC's enrichment classes.

Once you are placed with a teacher, the teacher will contact you to schedule lessons. Once lessons are confirmed by you with the teacher, you are responsible for attendance. There will be no classes Spring Break March 22-26.

Please ensure the following for success in the student's private lesson experience:
- A quiet place for both lesson time AND daily practice time
- Parent participation in lessons for students 10yr and younger is highly recommended
- Commitment to fulfilling the instructor's daily practice expectations
In case of illness, a student may request a make up lesson a maximum of once per term, if instructor is notified in advance of the lesson time. If the instructor is unable to accommodate the request, the missed lesson will be credited to your account. Makeups and credits are not available in the event of issues with internet connectivity or equipment.
