The Portland Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer Kidz Kamp, co-sponsored by GPISD. The theme this summer is Olympic Summer 2024, it is going to be awesome. This is a great program for working parents. The program is available for children 5-12 years of age, kinder-6th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Please note child must be 5 years old, we are unable to enroll 4 year olds in this program. Cost: $90.00/Week and $60 Registration Fee. The registration fee and first week of tuition are due at the time of enrollment. Child must enroll in the full summer program; we do not provide weekly options. We have a huge summer planned, swimming, field trips, special events, games and so much fun! We will provide snacks each day and lunch will be provided through the GPISD Summer Food Program. Our program is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and our staff are trained accordingly. Please be sure to fill out the registration form and email that to frocha@portlandtx.com or turn it in at the Portland Community Center. Child will not be able to attend until we have the completed registration from on file. Weekly tuition will be set up on auto draft, you can use a credit/debit card or electronic check. This is the only payment method to enroll in the payment plan for our summer program. Weekly tuition will be drafted every Friday before the following week of attendance. Note we only offer a full summer registration option. Once child is enrolled the weekly $90 will be charged for the duration of the program. We will not back charge for weeks that have passed. For example if you enroll mid program, Week 3 you will not be charged for week 1 and 2 when your child was not enrolled. Charges will be for all weeks following enrollment, whether child is an attendance or not. We must ensure we have adequate staffing and group selection. The program is closed Thursday, July 4, 2024.
