About This Activity
The perfect camp for every building boy! Campers will spend their day exploring building in various forms - from forts in the woods to Lego creations, wood block challenges to miniature houses. Each day will address some elements of building and the essential needs of a structure - columns, arches, roofs, and even floors. Each Junior Builder will get daily hands-on experience with tools and their various purposes and will build a personal craft to bring home at the end of the week. Teacher: Mr. Peter Vitz has been at The Heights School for nearly 20 years teaching homeroom, art, and natural history. Before teaching, Mr. Vitz worked in the architecture field.
