About This Activity
Our Small Group Sessions are designed to create a more intimate and focused approach to art exploration, teaching, and practice. In this session we’ll be looking at all things Anime. Unlike our typical weekly classes, students will not always be completing a project each week. Rather, they will use their class time to practice and build a specific skill set, leading up to a series of final projects. This specific class will look at typical Anime facial features, stylings, and movement. Our participants will create character-driven artwork including portraits and figure drawings. This will all lead to a final piece featuring a full-page Manga of their design. Students are strongly encouraged to attend class each week during this 16-week program. We recommend ages 8 through 17 for this special class.
