About This Activity
The 4-H Super Sitters program is a course designed for youth ages 12 and up who are interested in learning more about caring for children. It's the perfect introduction to the world of babysitting and a great way to build your skills and confidence. In this course, you'll learn key areas of childcare, including: Safety & First Aid: Learn how to prevent injuries and handle emergencies. Child Development: Understand the needs of babies, toddlers, and older kids. Engaging Activities: Get ideas for fun games and activities to keep kids happy and learning. Professionalism: Learn how to communicate with parents and build a positive reputation. You'll also get to build a 4-H Super Sitter kit to take with you as you start your childcare journey. Classes will meet on Nov 3, 5, 10, 12, 17 and 19. SPACE IS LIMITED TO 12 PEOPLE. *This course is not a certification in first aid. **If you wish to also do CPR, the class will be $90. Adult Education will give you the information for the CPR class.
