About This Activity
A barn quilt is a large piece of wood painted to look like a single, geometric quilt block and hung on the exterior of a barn, house, or other building. This form of American folk art often features bold colors and patterns, celebrating agricultural heritage and decorating rural landscapes. We are teaching the art of barn quilting this spring. In this class you will pick your design, draw it out on the board, tape and paint your design. It's a fun way to get the creative juices flowing. We will have dozen or so designs to pick from.
