About This Activity
Enjoy exploring Amal Unbound in a group setting through engaging reading strategies. This course focuses on the inspiring journey of Amal, a young girl who stands up for her rights against all odds. Students must purchase the novel before the first class and read the first two chapters by June 16th. Additional at-home reading will be necessary. Completing the course will prepare students to tackle the novel-based project with confidence. *Please note, this camp runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. There will be no camp on Thursday June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth. Location: M-4 Instructors: Alicia Gasser, Prairie 5/6 English Teacher
