About This Activity
Make summer reading fun! We will use a variety of reading and comprehension strategies, while we read the novel Ground Zero by Alan Gratz. Students are asked to purchase the novel prior to the first class. All students should read the first two chapters of the book before July 29th. Additional reading at home will be required. Students will successfully start the novel-based project during this course and finish the project at home. Location: M-4 Instructors: Dana Handrow, Prairie Learning Specialist
