About This Activity
Students who have had prior experience in a jazz setting learn more advanced concepts of jazz improvisation, style, and performance. We study and perform the music of the masters such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk and more. The 1-week session culminates with a final performance for family and friends.
