About This Activity
Students with at least 1 year of experience on any wind, percussion, or string instrument learn the basics of jazz style, history, and improvisation. We study and perform the music of the masters such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, and more. The 1-week session culminates with a final performance for family and friends.
