About This Activity
Dive into the magic and mysteries of mythical beasts, real life, incredible creatures, and fun characters of folklore. Mermaids, the Loch Ness Monster, dragons, fairies, gnomes, ancient sharks, centaurs, phoenixes, giant squids, and the like. We will use an idea journal, write skits, make a mini comic book, and sculpt a self-created creature. Bring your poetic heart, adventurous spirit, artistic eye, and curious energy! Together we will be creative all week, writing and reading stories, and exploring these fascinating concepts through art, acting, movement, song, and storytelling. Please note: There will not be camp on June 19th in honor of the Juneteenth Holiday! There is no charge for this day. Instructor: Sarah Rainbolt
