About This Activity
We’ll watch some of Moriah Elizabeth’s cool, crafty YouTube videos and make our own versions of the crafts along with her! We’ll do squishy makeovers, dollar store makeovers, paintings, art things to do when you’re bored, prompts from her Create This Book, and more! Instructor: Sierra Wilkinson Sierra has been an artist her whole life! She went to UNCG and got a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting (and a minor in Classical Studies, just for fun). While in college she illustrated a children's book for a local author; Ramona Red Dog, The Luckiest Dog Around! This was a wonderful opportunity, and she hopes to soon illustrate more books for kids! Although her concentration was painting in college, she has always loved all different ways of making art; including drawing, sewing, sculpting, jewelry making, crafting, etc. She believes creativity is an important skill that everyone inherently has that just needs to be nurtured and encouraged!
