About This Activity
Program Description: Chess is a great way for Ravenscroft students to increase their mental agility, concentration, memory, and analytical skills! We are excited to partner with Dragon Knight Chess again in 2024 to provide the opportunity for Lower and Middle School students to participate in this session of the Ravenscroft Chess Academy! In this program, students will learn chess fundamentals and strategies that enhance learning skills and critical thinking. Novice students and experienced players are encouraged to sign up, as we will have two levels of instruction and available experiences for both groups. We will register all students in one session and then divide them based on their experience level. Dragon Knight Chess is dedicated to promoting scholastic chess instruction for all young people. Whether you just want to improve your chess knowledge to play with friends or are a serious tournament player, we can help advance your chess skills! Session Dates (Monday): 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8 & 12/15. (No program November 24th)
