As a kid, did anyone ever tell you to stop playing with your food? “Playing with your food” by creating food art is a great way to introduce healthy foods in a fun and interactive way. In this fun class we incorporate food art activity in a nutrition education lesson to help students make the connection between knowledge and behaviors. We will also do activities to allow students to create whatever comes to mind guided by topics such as “The First Thanksgiving”, “Mammals” or “Sports”, etc. The best part is, we get to eat our projects at the end of class! Instructor: Nicole Barbour I am a mother of four wonderful children. I love teaching and helping children learn. I am a graduate in Computer Information Systems, Graphic Design, and Music Production.
