About This Activity
"Join us for the radKIDS Personal Empowerment Safety Education program, the National Leader in Children's Safety Education since 2001! Children are taught personal safety skills using a fun, activity-based curriculum. Anti-bullying, anti-abduction, fire safety, and dog safety are just a few of the many topics covered. Children are not taught do's and don'ts but are empowered to develop their own ""radKIDS Plan"" to go from danger to safety. Come learn important personal safety skills while having tons of fun! Instructor: Rich and Kristin Kennedy Rich and his wife Kristin are originally from New York and moved to Apex nine years ago. Kristin is a former corporate sales analyst and now SAHM to their two children, who have been homeschooled for the past four years. Rich is a former Marine and retired police officer. Rich and Kristin are certified instructors with the radKIDS Personal Empowerment Safety Education program. They love teaching kids to be safe in fun and playful ways. After completing the radKIDS curriculum, their children enjoy being mentors for the 5 to 7-year-old age group. As a family, they enjoy spending time together, playing with their two dogs, traveling & exploring new places. They also like biking or walking to downtown Apex for a cup of coffee.
