We are Going to the Moon! In " We Are Going to the Moon!", we'll take a giant leap into the past to relive one of humanity's greatest achievements. This course will guide students through the epic timeline of the missions to the moon, providing context to understand the era that made such a daring adventure possible. The journey to the moon wasn't easy. We'll discuss the equipment used, the people involved, the challenges faced, the problems solved, and the lessons learned, all of which contributed to this monumental success. By the end of this course, your students won't just know that we went to the moon - they'll understand how we got there, the people who made it happen, and the challenges they overcame. This course will inspire them with the power of human ingenuity and the limitless potential of a determined team. Instructor: Nadia Sahar I am a homeschooling mom of two awesome kids (10 and 6). I have a Masters in Teaching (MAT in Elementary Grades) from NC State and have a passion for teaching and learning! Since I have an undergrad in International Affairs, I love bringing the global perspective to all my courses! In addition to teaching, I observed and evaluated teachers as a part of a state-wide study by NC State which entirely changed my outlook on the process. I love learning about various cultures and languages! I speak 3.5 more languages including Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and some Arabic. This interest took me back to school last year and I got licensed as an ESL instructor. My family and I love traveling and have traveled to a ton of states from the east to the west coast and more than a dozen countries from Spain, and Morocco to Malaysia in the far east Asia. It's been on my list to explore this unique set of courses with my kids. I am so excited and grateful to have an opportunity to share
