In this class, students will explore and act out all sorts of fairy tales! We'll explore iconic fairy tales like Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood and we will also explore lesser-known fairy tales like Rumpelstiltskin and Three Billy Goats Gruff. This class will place an emphasis on using one of the three actor's tools, the body, to communicate a story. Students will learn to use Pantomime skills (miming) to clearly show the setting and props. They'll also practice clearly physicalizing and differentiating all of the various Storybook characters! Hop on board Cinderella's pumpkin carriage and join us for an exciting semester of fun and learning! Instructor: Michael Lamont (SAS)
