About This Activity
Welcome to Fiber Arts Adventure for creative kids! In this exciting and hands-on class, young learners will embark on a colorful journey through the world of fiber arts, discovering the joys of finger knitting, loom knitting, beginning crochet and we may even throw in some pom poms! This course is designed to ignite the imagination and provide a fun and creative outlet for children aged 7-11, with no prior experience necessary. Creating fiber art with our hands promotes dexterity and concentration, fosters patience and precision, develops fine motor skills, and allows children to express themselves through their personal creativity. Instructor: Angele Coburn Hi, I'm Ms. Angele. My family moved to North Carolina two years ago and began our homeschooling journey during the same time. I am a mom to four kids. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught in the public school system for ten years. I am ecstatic about the freedom and individualized education homeschooling provides for my children. The Homeschool Experience has been a great blessing and support for our homeschool and I am so happy to be a part of it as a teacher. I am also an avid learner. I am always very curious about how things work and why. I love singing, theater, reading, math, walking, spending time in nature, and seeing new places.
