The students in this class will be using reproduction weapons and items to learn stage combat safety and to choreograph fights from existing stage plays and musicals. They will be asked to memorize lines as well as working with their combat skills to complete these fights. This will be a physical class and the students will need loose clothing they can move in, close-toed shoes, and should bring water bottles to every class. When weather and space permits, we will work outside as well. Although the students are encouraged to practice outside of class time, they should never use any hand held item with a partner without adult supervision.
