About This Activity
Instructors: Kathryn Auman and Renee Boyette This camp invites young designers to transform recycled materials into runway-ready fashion, turning everyday “trash” into creative treasure. Campers sketch designs, select upcycled materials, and construct garments and accessories while learning basic hand-stitching techniques. The week wraps with an exciting Runway Show where they debut their sustainable, one-of-a-kind creations for family and friends. And that's not all! Campers will also have the opportunity to dream wonderful ideas and create enchanting jewelry. Each day we will create new and exciting jewelry for the campers to wear and enjoy.
