About This Activity
"Come and join us on an adventure around the world as we visit a different country or place each week! In this class learners will explore places around the world in a fun and interactive way! This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. We will also explore a geographical theme related to the weekly class and sometimes even sample foods from the country we learn about!! We will also dive into the ongoing story of an explorer traveling the world! Each month, we will have a letter addressed to the class! Accompanied by vibrant illustrations, field notes, and a map, your letter will whisk you away on a literary adventure to a land far, far away! You'll learn about different cultures, cuisines, wildlife, landmarks, oddities, heritages, and more! You'll explore castles, trek up mountains, visit souks, wander forests, study ruins, partake in festivals, and even sail the seven seas!!" Instructor: Nicole Barbour I am a mother of four wonderful children. I love teaching and helping children learn. I am a graduate in Computer Information Systems, Graphic Design and Music Production. I enjoy gardening, making music, playing chess and traveling the world, real estate investing and learning about plants and herbs! I’m looking forward to an amazing year!
