The St David’s soccer camp seeks to develop and improve each player's technique, skills and creativity with the ball. Under the direction of Varsity coach Jose Cornejo, players will be exposed to dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and small-sided games emphasizing touches on the ball and possession. The training focus for younger players ages 5-8 will be to improve their skills in a fun-filled environment and players ages 9-13 will work on technical refinement and receive an introduction to the tactical side of the game. All campers are placed in proper age groups to ensure developmentally appropriate teaching and competition. We work hard to challenge the higher level campers in the same way we do the less experienced ones. Players will have a ball at their feet almost the whole week and the atmosphere is perfect for a child who loves the game or for someone who just wants to learn more skills. This camp CAN include lunch from 12-1 if you would like to extend pick up time to 1pm or bridge to an afternoon camp. Please be sure to select "supervised lunch" and pack a nut-free lunch for your camper.
