In this one-semester course, we’ll stretch our green thumbs while we dive into the world of plants and botany. We’ll use hands-on activities, labs, games and projects to learn about plant anatomy, leaves, photosynthesis, plant cells, classification, trees and some of the more amazing carnivorous and poisonous plants. While on this journey, we’ll also learn about the amazing science of hydroponics. Depending on the projects we embark upon, some very light homework may be required of students. Instructor: Renee Charbonneau Renee is a former elementary school teacher who specialized in grades 2-8 and special needs.
