About This Activity
In this class, we'll be watching an episode every week of the anime, Cells At Work! This anime is incredibly educational and for context, the anime is about the human body. Each character is based on a cell in your body. The anime follows a red blood cell and a white blood cell that fight infections, germs, and diseases! After each episode, we'll do a lab-based on that episode, so for a blood transfer we'll do something with blood typing and such. Instructor: Sophie Lyerly and Davion Green, Teen Teachers Sophie is an experienced THE teacher and is excited to share her passion for anime with a science theme. She enjoys Western horse riding, skiing, and Minecraft. Davion is a 16 year old that loves anything related to robotics and gaming. He is an avid reader and enjoys a little competition sometimes. He loves all types of games and he looks forward to building challenges and having fun with the class.
