About This Activity
"In this hands-on course we’ll soar with the birds, swim with amphibians and crawl and slither with the reptiles. We’ll learn about anatomy, flight, birds of prey, migration, unique beaks, venom, misconceptions and more. We’ll also get up close and personal with some real-life birds, turtles and snakes. Our learning will include hands-on labs, projects and games. Depending on the projects we embark upon, some very light homework may be required of students. Instructor: Renee Charbonneau Renee is a former elementary school teacher who specialized in grades 2-8 and special needs. After many years as a teacher, she decided to homeschool her two children, now in 8th and 10th grade. Renee obsesses over all things Harry Potter, science, and history. She can't wait to ignite students' passion for learning!
