In this class, students will explore the art of origami and paper crafts. Participants will learn how to create various paper shapes, including animals, flowers, and geometric figures, using folding and cutting techniques. They will also experiment with different types of paper, such as construction paper and origami paper, to create unique and colorful projects. Through this hands-on course, students will increase their fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and creativity. By the end of the class, students will have a collection of paper crafts to take home and show off to their friends and family. Instructor: Angele Coburn Hi, I'm Ms. Angele. My family moved to North Carolina two years ago and began our homeschooling journey during the same time. I am a mom to four kids. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught in the public school system for ten years. I am ecstatic about the freedom and individualized education homeschooling provides for my children. The Homeschool Experience has been a great blessing and support for our homeschool and I am so happy to be a part of it as a teacher. I am also an avid learner. I am always very curious about how things work and why. I love singing, theater, reading, math, walking, spending time in nature, and seeing new places.
