In "Profiles in Science," students will immerse themselves in the compelling narratives of renowned scientists, uncovering their groundbreaking discoveries, overcoming challenges, and leaving an indelible mark on our world. Each session of "Profiles in Science" will spotlight a different luminary, ranging from trailblazers like Marie Curie and Isaac Newton to modern visionaries such as Jane Goodall and Stephen Hawking. Whether conducting experiments in chemistry and physics or delving into the realms of biology and environmental science, students will roll up their sleeves to engage in hands-on projects inspired by the methodologies and breakthroughs of these scientists. Originally from Pakistan, I spent my childhood soaking up the California sun, had a soulful stint in Oregon, and called Abu Dhabi home for a solid decade.
