About This Activity
Let’s journey back in time to study some of the most inspirational, impactful and revolutionary cultures. In this hands-on course, students will learn about how these great societies made ripples in all the history of the world to come after them. We’ll learn about inventions, food, famous people, art and life from these times. Our learning will take form through hands-on projects, games, and activities, as well as light reading, writing and mapping. Topics of study may include: Stone Age and Early Humans, Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Greece and Rome. Instructor: Renee Charbonneau Renee is a former elementary school teacher who specialized in grades 2-8 and special needs. After many years as a teacher, she decided to homeschool her two children, now in 8th and 10th grade. Renee obsesses over all things Harry Potter, science, and history. She can't wait to ignite students' passion for learning!
