About This Activity

Girls Who Code is a fun, welcoming club where girls explore coding, robotics, and creative problem-solving through games, storytelling, crafts, and hands-on projects. Inspired by the national Girls Who Code mission, this club helps girls build confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging in technology. No prior coding experience is needed—just curiosity and imagination! Our goal is to show girls that coding is creative, mistakes are part of learning, and they belong in tech. In each session, girls will learn to code through play using age-appropriate tools such as Scratch Jr., Code.org, and simple robotics platforms like Spheros. What Girls Will Do: - Learn coding through games and stories - Explore robotics and hands-on challenges - Create digital art, animations, and projects - Work together in a supportive, all-girls environment - Share ideas, try new things, and build confidence
