In Kitchen Science, the kitchen becomes a laboratory where we will explore the chemical and physical reactions that occur during cooking and baking. Through hands-on experimentation, we will delve into the science behind yeast, baking soda and vinegar reactions, ice cream, and fermentation of foods as well as a variety of other topics! And sometimes we will get to enjoy our yummy creations. This class will have all new experiments and will be different from the Fall term. Instructor - Seema Kahn Seema Khan is a homeschooler with over 15 years of experience. She co- founded a homeschooling group during the 10 years she lived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates with her husband and 3 boys (19, 15 and 10 years old). She taught various classes through co-ops focused on giving kids a bespoke learning experience.
