Take a look at history and find all the amazing women who have had an impact on it and the world itself. We will be learning about a different influential woman each session, such as: Mae Jemison, Sojourner Truth, Frieda Kahlo, Malala Yousafzai, Sylvia Rivera, and so many more! Please note that this is a social studies class and as such we will be discussing social issues as they were in the past and how they are relevant today. Students will be expected to be able to read at a 4th grade level. Instructor: AJ Eldred AJ Eldred has been teaching with THE for 5 years. As someone who was homeschooled all through high school, she has a unique perspective to bring to the classroom. She is an eclectic individual with interests ranging from psychology and social sciences to physics, art, math, and everything in between. Her qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in both Political Science and Physics and minors in history and math.
