Unlock your child's full potential at Gulu Gulu. Level 1: Discovering Sounds and Letters This stage builds the foundation of literacy. Children learn to recognize and produce letter sounds, match them to their written forms, and develop strong phonemic awareness. Activities are designed to help students hear, identify, and play with sounds, preparing them to connect letters with meaning in an engaging way. Level 2: Blending, Segmenting, and Early Reading (“In-Progress” Waiting List is Open) At this level, children move from recognizing sounds to using them for reading and writing. They practice blending sounds together to form words and segmenting words into sounds to support spelling. Students begin reading short texts and simple books, while also building confidence in writing familiar words and basic sentences. Level 3: Fluency, Comprehension, and Independent Writing (“In-Progress” Waiting List is Open) The focus shifts to reading smoothly with accuracy and expression. Students strengthen comprehension skills by discussing story details, making predictions, and answering questions about what they read. Writing becomes more independent as they compose their own sentences and short passages. This stage equips learners with the tools for confident and independent reading and writing.
