Storytime for caregivers and their toddlers (1 to 3 years).
Storytimes are a great way for caregivers and families to learn about best practices in early literacy, to encourage early learning in your child’s life, and continue the learning at home.
A typical Toddler Time features a great story, read aloud, with audience participation, interactive songs and fingerplays, which help children learn about the structure and sound of language. This program includes playtime, allowing children to play with their peers and caregivers, which is a vital component in how children learn.
Please register child only.
Registered storytimes are limited to registered child and one caregiver.
Due to limited space and fire-code capacity, the Library is unable to accommodate walk-in participants, schools, large groups, and daycares.
We kindly encourage families to limit participation to one caregiver per child and one storytime per week, due to high demand.
Families with children of different ages may find Family Storytime the best fit.
