About This Activity
Take your music skills to the next level in a fun, interactive group setting! This class gives students the chance to play exciting music with friends in small ensembles, where every musician gets to be an important part of the group. Students will build confidence, teamwork, listening skills, and musicianship while learning how to create music together. Unlike a traditional large band or orchestra, these smaller groups give students more opportunities to play, share ideas, collaborate, and connect with other young musicians. Band, string, piano, and percussion/drum students are all welcome! Students should have at least one year of experience on their instrument. Students are required to bring their own instruments with the exception of piano. Keyboards are available to students with experience playing the piano or keyboard. Come make new friends, play great music, and discover how much fun making music together can be!
