Students will have the unique opportunity to learn from an industry professional with 36 years of experience designing vehicles for Chrysler and Honda! They’ll think like real designers as they dream up cars, planes, houses, products, and more. Using sketches and hands-on models, students will learn how to turn creative ideas into real designs while building problem-solving and STEM skills. Perfect for future designers, engineers, inventors, and creative thinkers. Eric Schumaker earned his Industrial Design degree from ArtCenter College of Design, where he currently teaches. He spent 36 years designing vehicles for Chrysler and Honda and now works at Soleado Elementary. Eric loves helping kids use their creativity to turn big ideas into real designs.
