About This Activity
Our mentored fishing club 101 is for the students that want to catch fish and not compete but rather learn the basics of fishing and enjoy the sport. In addition to fishing at Tyrrell Pond, we will learn the differences of the various poles, reels, lines, baits, knots and lures. All students and families will be invited to join a trip to Lake Erie (date to be determined) for a walleye and/or perch fishing charter on a 15 person head boat. Most days will be catch and release. We will learn to fillet, scale and cook our catch one of the fishing days. 1st Wednesday of each month from May through September. Please only signup for 1 fishing club
