About This Activity
Description
Gel printing has a reputation for being intimidating — expensive plate, "wrong" colors, a technique you have to get right. This class exists to talk you out of that idea.Over five sessions, you'll learn the full foundation of gel plate monoprinting: layering, masking, mark-making, and pulling prints that surprise you in the best way. Once the basics feel comfortable, we'll go further — exploring how the same plate can be used with a stamp pad and watercolors for even more options! No prior art experience is needed, and there's no "good" or "bad" print here — just paper, ink, and permission to play. All supplies are provided — play with anything on the table while you're here. What comes home with you is what you create, not the materials themselves.
Please note, a non-refundable convenience/processing fee will be applied to all transactions conducted over the Internet.
