About This Activity
Learn To Read (Advanced) Saturdays, 10:00 am- 12:00 pm 10+ years old This class ensures accurate recognition and pronunciation of the Arabic alphabet, with an emphasis on identifying the distinct sounds of Arabic. Teachers will ensure students perfect Arabic letter pronunciation and differentiation of soft and strong sounding letters. Students will also revisit how Arabic letters connect; how Arabic letters change shape and connect depending on their position within words. Students will complete reading exercises to ensure correct application of short and long vowels and how it modifies pronunciation. Students will also revisit the rules of Sukoon and Shaddah. Tanween, Tar Marboota and Silent Lam will be introduced. Room: 150B
