About This Activity
The Youth Education program at PNW Seminary seeks to equip Muslim youth with a strong foundation in their Deen through a more serious Islamic studies program taught by qualified instructors. Our youth who complete Youth Seminary will gain a strong understanding of their faith including its core beliefs, rituals, and proper application. Classes Sciences of the Quran (w/ Ml. Muhammad Hasnie): This course examines the key sciences that deepen our understanding of the Quran —its history, preservation, modes of recitation, principles of tafsīr, and more. It offers a comprehensive overview and practical insights into how the Qur’an has been studied and transmitted throughout Islamic tradition. Selections from the 40 Hadith of Imam Nawawi (w/ Ust. Faeez Sadek): This course introduces students to some of the most foundational and practical teachings of Islam through carefully selected hadith from Imam Nawawi's famous hadith collection. The class emphasizes understanding core Islamic values—such as sincerity, character, intention, and responsibility—and how they apply to everyday life. Students will engage with the hadith in a clear, relatable way, helping them build a strong spiritual foundation rooted in the Prophetic tradition. Financial aid available!
